Theo Von Recalls Wild Experience With Nate Diaz On Indie Film Set Filled With ‘Light Abuse’
Nate Diaz and Theo Von
Nate Diaz, infamous for his raw, unfiltered personality, brought his usual antics, keeping everyone on edge. Whether inside the cage or on set, Diaz never fails to stir things up. Comedian Theo Von recently shared his wild experience working with a UFC star on a film project. As expected, chaos was inevitable with the Stockton native, known for his signature Stockton Slap and unpredictable energy. Theo recounted how things got out of hand, making for an unforgettable experience.
Busboys is an indie film starring and written by Spade and Von, with Jonah Feingold directing. With no studio backing, the two leads are funding it themselves, and there’s no word yet on whether it’ll hit theaters or land on streaming. Talking about the film is rumored to have some major cameos, including the Diaz brothers.
Sharing his experience working with Nate, Von revealed on FULL SEND PODCAST that there was some mild chaos on set—nothing serious, just the kind of scuffle that might get a cop’s attention but not a ticket.
“There was some… I wouldn’t I would say, maybe… I would say, light abuse or whatever. Nothing domestic. Like, if a cop pulled up, he’d kind of wave it off. He’d definitely flash his lights but still drive off,” Von said.
Nate Diaz Shares His Thoughts On UFC Return
Nate Diaz
During a recent interview with Full Violence, Diaz admitted he’s taking a step back from the UFC and combat sports. He explained that the excitement just isn’t there anymore, and nothing is motivating him to return. Diaz expressed frustration with the current state of both MMA and boxing, saying they lack the energy and big moments that once made them great. In his opinion, the only true superstars still competing are Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya.
Even though ‘Stockton Slapper’ has said he’s stepping away from combat sports, he still teases a UFC return on social media. His posts get fans excited and hopeful for a comeback. As one of the biggest names in the sport, people really miss seeing him fight and are waiting for him to make a move.
