“We talked about finishing strong, and they did exactly that,” White said. “This group has shown commitment to playing the right way — with energy, focus, and toughness. Now, the challenge is to carry that into the regular season.”

Lexie Hull was instrumental in the win, leading the team with 14 points and hitting key shots late in the game. Speaking to media afterward, she credited her performance to preparation and team chemistry.

“The trust this coaching staff and my teammates have in me gives me the freedom to be aggressive,” Hull said. “We’ve built a great connection, and I’m just trying to do my part.”

When asked about playing alongside Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, Hull said it’s opened up the floor and allowed her to find more rhythm off the ball.
