UFC CEO Dana White Opens Up About Intimate Relationship He Has With Superstar NFL Wide Receiver
Dana White
Dana White has made a surprising revelation about one of the biggest names in the NFL.
White, the president and CEO of UFC, is known for his involvement in combat sports, but he likely heard a lot of football talk in his house as his kids played the sport and, as a result, are friends with Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua.
Nacua, who is entering his third year in the pros, has quickly built a reputation as a formidable receiving threat and helped the Rams reach the Divisional Round in last season’s playoffs. According to White, the star wideout grew up in his house.
The UFC chief was a guest on Julian Edelman’s ‘Games With Names’ podcast and disclosed there’s a closeness between Nacua and his family.
“My kids grew up with Puka. He grew up in our house,” he said.

Nacua, who was a Pro Bowler and Second-Team All-Pro in 2023, played youth football with Dana’s son in Las Vegas before moving to Orem, Utah, to attend high school. He played his college football for Washington and BYU before the Rams picked him in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
White would also claim that the youth team Puka and his kids played for featured other current NFL stars.
“Me and Lorenzo [Fertitta] used to fund a team called the ‘Little Cowboys’ and he was on the ‘Little Cowboys’ with my kids and a bunch of other guys that are playing right now,” he added.

Nacua set rookie records in his first year with the Rams, registering 105 receptions and 1,486 receiving yards in 17 regular-season appearances for the NFC outfit.
He only played in 11 regular-season games last year, making 79 catches for 990 yards.
“To see Puka doing what he’s doing now, it could not happen to a better human being,” White said. “When you meet this kid, you will love this kid. He’s such a good kid.”
