It was a night to remember in Iowa City, as the Indiana Fever delivered a dominant performance in a special exhibition matchup against the Brazil Women’s National Basketball Team, thrilling fans at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena with a convincing 94–67 victory.

From the opening tip, the Fever came out with intensity, precision, and chemistry, showing exactly why they’re one of the most anticipated teams heading into the WNBA season.
Caitlin Clark Shines in Homecoming Atmosphere
Returning to the arena where she became a college basketball legend, Caitlin Clark wasted no time electrifying the crowd with her signature deep threes, slick passes, and unmatched court vision.
She finished with:
23 points
9 assists
5 rebounds
“It felt amazing to be back,” Clark said postgame. “This place will always be special to me, and to do it in front of these fans — in a Fever jersey — was surreal.”
The crowd responded with deafening cheers every time she touched the ball.

Fever Chemistry on Full Display
While Clark was the headliner, the entire Indiana roster clicked. Aliyah Boston controlled the paint with dominant post play and rim protection, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell added 16, shooting 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
The Fever’s ball movement and defensive energy stifled Brazil from start to finish. Their swarming rotations and rebounding edge left Brazil scrambling for rhythm.
Head coach Christie Sides praised the team effort:
“This wasn’t just a Caitlin Clark show — this was Fever basketball. Everyone contributed. Everyone locked in.”
Brazil Fights, But Falls Short
To their credit, the Brazil National Team showed flashes of brilliance. Star guard Damiris Dantas dropped 15 points, and Tainá Paixão added 12, but the physicality and tempo of Indiana were simply too much.
Despite the loss, Brazil’s squad gained valuable experience against WNBA-level competition, and they’ll be looking to regroup ahead of Olympic qualifiers.
A Packed House and a Message Sent
With over 15,000 fans in attendance, many dressed in Clark’s Iowa colors, the energy was off the charts. This wasn’t just an exhibition — it was a statement game.
The Fever sent a clear message: They’re not here to rebuild — they’re here to compete.
With Caitlin Clark back where it all began, and the Fever firing on all cylinders, one thing is clear: this team is ready to take the WNBA by storm.
