It started with a tweet.

In between rants about AI apocalypse and Mars colonization, Elon Musk casually dropped a bombshell: “Doing my best to help the underpopulation crisis. A collapsing birth rate is the biggest danger civilization faces. I’m doing my part ;)”

That was in 2022. Now, in 2025, it turns out he wasn’t kidding. Elon Musk—tech titan, self-proclaimed meme lord, and the richest man on Earth—is quietly building a baby empire. According to insider reports and leaked legal documents, Musk is now the father of at least 14 children, many born to women bound by non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and millions of dollars in hush money.

A Growing Family—In the Shadows

While some of Musk’s children are publicly known—like X Æ A-12 and Exa Dark Sideræl, the children he shares with musician Grimes—others have emerged more mysteriously. Reports surfaced of twins born in secret to Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, just weeks before Grimes gave birth to their second child via surrogate.

Since then, whispers have grown louder.

Multiple former SpaceX and Tesla employees, some with ties to Neuralink and The Boring Company, claim Musk has fathered more children with women who have never appeared in public with him. Most of them are allegedly required to sign airtight NDAs in exchange for financial support and anonymity.

One former associate, speaking under condition of anonymity, described the agreements as “very Silicon Valley—clinical, transactional, but also very generous. If you go along with the terms, your child will never want for anything. But you disappear from public life.”

The Business of Babies

Sources close to Musk say this is no accident. “He sees it as his mission,” said a former Tesla exec. “He genuinely believes the planet is underpopulated and that his genes are a kind of gift to humanity.”

And he puts his money where his mouth is. Several women have reportedly received multi-million-dollar settlements, in addition to trust funds for the children, private schooling, and luxury housing. One source estimated that Musk has quietly spent over $25 million on private arrangements related to his children in the past five years.

Legal experts say while there’s nothing illegal about this arrangement, the NDAs—often involving complex clauses about press interaction and online anonymity—raise ethical concerns.

“It’s one thing to want privacy,” said family law attorney Marisa Feldman. “It’s another to weaponize wealth and influence to erase someone from public existence.”

The Cult of Musk—and Its Consequences

Fans see him as a visionary. Critics call him a chaos agent. But both sides agree on one thing: Musk is reshaping culture, and now, even the concept of family.

In online forums, some Musk supporters cheer his actions as “patriotic fatherhood.” On X (formerly Twitter), hashtags like #ElonsArmy and #FutureMuskites circulate alongside fan theories about how many kids he really has.

But behind the memes lies a deeper question: What happens to children born into secrecy?

A former nanny, who worked for one of Musk’s lesser-known offspring, described a world of “ultra-privacy, high IQ expectations, and near-worship of Elon as the center of the universe.” She added, “It’s like raising royalty, but without the public acknowledgment.”

Final Frontier, or Final Fantasy?

Whether this is a moral mission or a billionaire’s sci-fi fantasy gone too far, Musk’s baby empire is real—and growing.

With each revelation, the mythology around Elon Musk evolves. He’s no longer just the man trying to colonize Mars. He’s building his own legacy here on Earth, one child at a time, cloaked in contracts and silence.

And as for the women involved?

“They’re not victims,” one insider said. “But they’re not fully free either. They’re part of something much bigger than they realized. Something… Muskian.”

What comes next? Only Elon knows. And maybe his lawyers.
