US Olympic gold medalist learns his fate after trying to have s~~~x with undercover officer
Kyle Snyder, the former United States Olympic wrestling champion, took a plea deal on Monday to put an end to his prostitution arrest case.
Snyder, who won Olympic gold for the US at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio in the 97kg weight class, submitted his plea on Monday after being detained in Cleveland earlier this month.
According to TMZ Sports, Snyder pled guilty to a charge of misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He was ordered to pay a $250 fine as well as court costs.
Moreover, Snyder has been mandated by the Franklin County, Ohio court to attend a ‘John school’.
The arrest took place back on May 9 after Snyder allegedly responded to a fake internet ad created by law enforcement to catch would-be Johns attempting to pay for sex.
The 29-year-old Snyder allegedly set up a date with an undercover agent, arrived at the hotel 30 minutes later and offered to pay cash for oral sex.

Body cam footage of Snyder being arrested without pants on was released last week
He was then ‘arrested for Engaging in Prostitution by uniformed officers inside the hotel room,’ officers told TMZ in a statement.
Snyder was arrested last Friday around 8:30 p.m. local time and he did not resist detainment, which took place next to a made bed, according to body cam footage.
With about six officers responding to the scene, Snyder was cuffed by police. He was then helped by those cops so that he could put on his pants.
‘Alright man listen, I’m not going to take you down the hallway doing the walk of shame,’ one police officer said to Snyder.
‘Put his pants on real quick. There’s other people in this hotel,’ another policeman added.
In the footage, Snyder provided his first and last name to police and informed them that he lived in Pennsylvania.
Columbus Police Sargent Joe Albert revealed the arrest to reporters on May 12, explaining that Snyder was among 16 men arrested as part of the sting.
After winning gold at heavyweight during the 2016 Rio Games, Snyder was appointed to President Donald Trump’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition in 2018.

He had signed with the Real American Freestyle wrestling league, which boasts Hulk Hogan as its commissioner and will open its inaugural season in August.
Only last week, Snyder was named as a new addition, alongside fellow Olympic medalists Kyle Dake and Aaron Brooks.
Hogan said wrestlers such as Snyder ‘represent the best of the best, and that´s who we´re targeting for Real American Freestyle.’
‘Our goal is to give these athletes an opportunity to continue their careers, create a platform for greatness, and inspire a legacy that lasts.’
Although originally from Maryland, Snyder has ties to Columbus after winning three national championships at Ohio State. The second came in 2017 after he tore cartilage in his chest during the quarterfinals.
In 2016, he made history by becoming the youngest ever wrestler to secure a ‘triple crown’ – winning the world, NCAA and Olympic titles.
