UFC Veteran Makes Bold Claim Of Alex Pereira Lying About Getting His Profile Hacked

UFC veteran claims Alex Pereira faked his account hack, stirring controversy and fan reactions ahead of Pereira’s next appearance

Alex Pereira

Alex Pereira had quite a meltdown with the UFC in a recent post on X. Showing significant anger, Pereira posted about hanging up his gloves once and for all. However, just when the UFC realm was going berserk, ‘Poatan’ came in and debunked his post by terming the fiasco as hacking. But that might not be the case after all. According to UFC veteran Daniel Cormier, Pereira might be lying!

In a recent episode of the ‘Good Guy Bad Guy’ podcast, DC shed light on the matter. Cormier opined that Pereira’s account might not have been hacked. He opined that Hunter Campbell might have proposed to Magomed Ankalaev for a match at the International Fight Week. While the champion accepted, Pereira might have declined. The next thing Pereira knew was that the fight was offered to somebody else. And this is where he got angry.

“Pereira is a liar. Pereira did not get hacked. Pereira might have tweeted something and then somebody called him like, ‘Yo, calm down, let’s chill.’ I don’t believe the hacked thing, bro. It was too specific,” Cormier stated.

Surely, this is a big statement coming from Cormier. His co-host, Chael Sonnen, too, agreed to the narrative. He pointed out that the post looked too decent to be posted by a hacker. Meanwhile, with the speculations running wild, here’s how the entire thing panned out for Pereira.

In one of the biggest surprises, the UFC realm was shocked to find out that Alex Pereira had gone off on the UFC. Taking to his X account, Pereira stated that he was extremely unhappy about something that the UFC told him. Things looked so chaotic that Pereira even considered retiring.

“I always answered the UFC’s calls, but if they want to play with me, we can do that. I’ve never spoken poorly of the UFC but with what I’ve just heard I’m disheartened. I’ve already had thoughts of not fighting anymore, and after what was just relayed to me this may be the start,” Pereira said.

Now then, things quickly got back to normal. Pereira immediately de-escalated things by saying that his account was hacked. Surely, with a lot of confusion going around, it now remains to be seen what happens next.
