UFC Star Caio Borralho Slams Dagestani Fighter For Dodging Bout: “Dagestan Is Ashamed Of Him”

Caio Borralho
Dagestan is known for producing some of the toughest and most respected fighters in the world, from legends like Khabib Nurmagomedov to current stars like Magomed Ankalaev. One thing that fans admire about Dagestani fighters is their willingness to take any fight, anytime even on short notice. Islam Makhachev, for example, has stepped up in tough situations without hesitation. However, UFC middleweight Caio Borralho has called out Nassourdine Imavov, a fighter with Dagestani roots, accusing him of dodging a fight that was offered by the UFC.
Borralho didn’t hold back, he accused Imavov of embarrassing the Dagestani community, known for producing tough, fearless fighters. He mentioned that people from Dagestan grow up fighting and living hard lives, so it doesn’t make sense to him why Imavov would avoid a challenge. The Brazilian fighter went as far as suggesting Imavov a coward. He said that the proud fighting culture of Dagestan would be ashamed of someone who refuses to step into the Octagon.
In his words, “I heard this guy is Dagestani. I think the Dagestani people are ASHAMED of him. As I heard, Dagestani people like to fight. They fight on the street, they live a rough life. But this guy is a f*****g p***y. Dagestan is ashamed of him.”

This kind of public call-out adds to the tension between the two fighters and could build hype for a future showdown if Imavov responds. For now, Borralho is making it clear—he’s ready to fight, and he expects others to be just as brave.
Caio Borralho Ready To Face Anyone Even UFC Superstar Khamzat Chimaev

Caio Borralho
Borralho recently shared that he’s ready to fight anyone to earn a UFC middleweight title shot, even his former training partner Khamzat Chimaev. He believes he has an edge over Chimaev because they trained together in Sweden and Las Vegas. During that time, Borralho says he closely studied Chimaev’s fighting style and strategies.
While helping him train, he was also learning his system, which he now feels could give him a real advantage in a fight. With only one loss on his record, he’s making it clear he’s not afraid of big challenges. If the UFC books this matchup, it could be a high-stakes showdown between two rising stars one with inside knowledge and the other with an undefeated streak.
