Trump flaunts astonishing ’24 karat gold’ adorning the White House that ‘freak out’ world leaders

President Donald Trump has flaunted the ’24 karat gold’ that adorns the walls of the White House that he claimed make other world leaders ‘freak out’ in an odd social media post on Sunday night.

The 79-year-old former real estate developer brought in his ‘gold guy’ to help decorate the presidential palace when he took office in January, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Now, all of the interiors feature golden details, trinkets and other décor that makes the White House shine.

Bragging about the accoutrements on his Truth Social platform, the commander-in-chief shared a silent video panning around dozens of gold wall moldings laid out on a table.

‘Some of the highest quality 24 Karat Gold used in the Oval Office and Cabinet Room of the White House,’ the president wrote.

‘Foreign Leaders, and everyone else, “freak out” when they see the quality and beauty,’ he continued.

‘Best Oval Office ever in terms of success and look!!!’

The post came after a woman on TikTok claimed she could purchase much of the president’s decor for Home Depot for a bargain price.

The video showed her going through the aisles of the home improvement store and picking up items that matched those in the White House, which she said she could just spray paint gold.

Trump, though, has repeatedly denied that the gold decorations are common.

‘People have tried to come up with a gold paint that would look like gold and they’ve never been able to do it,’ he told Laura Ingraham in March.

‘You’ve never been able to match gold with gold paint,’ he insisted.

But many online found Trump’s display to be in poor taste.

‘The contrast is grotesque – imagery you couldn’t script any better,’ Project Liberal Executive Director Joshua Reed Eakle posted.

‘A president slashes healthcare, heaps unprecedented tariffs onto working Americans and then posts gaudy videos flaunting his new gold-plated trinkets,’ he wrote, adding that ‘Americans will not bow to another king.’

Another X user asked Americans to ‘remember this tweet next time you buy groceries or pay your electricity bill,’ while a third noted that the United States’ debt is $37 trillion and accused Trump of trying to make people forget about the debt with his gold pieces.

Others pointed out the poor timing of the post, which came just hours after 40-year-old Thomas Jacob Sanford rammed his car into a Mormon church before setting it on fire and shooting at congregants.

He killed at least four people and injured eight others during his horrifying rampage before he was shot dead in the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

‘Multiple mass shootings over the last 24 hours and Donald Trump is online bragging about the amount of gold in his office,’ an X user wrote.

Another asked ‘HOW is he posting THIS after what happened last night in NC and today in Michigan,’ while a third responded to Vice President JD Vance’s post saying that the ‘entire administration is monitoring things’ as the investigation into the Michigan shooting continues.

‘Monitoring? No Trump is busy bragging about his 24kt gold,’ the user scoffed.
