Fans have previously witnessed Navy SEALs stepping into the ring against MMA fighters, with Sean Strickland even sparring with one. More recently, Andrew Tate claimed that his bodyguard could take on an MMA fighter. In a similar fashion, Lionel Messi’s bodyguard has now challenged Logan Paul to a boxing match amid an energy drink dispute.

A legal dispute over energy drinks between Logan Paul and Lionel Messi has escalated into a potential boxing showdown. Messi’s bodyguard, Yassine Chueko, who has a martial arts background and viral fame for his agility, has challenged Paul to fight on behalf of the football icon.

The feud began when Messi launched Mas+, which Paul accused of copying his PRIME drink. Both brands have since filed lawsuits. Paul even joked he’d drop the case if Messi agreed to a fight in 2025. Now, Chueko has stepped in, declaring in an Instagram video, and he said:

“Listen Logan, I’m doing this video because a lot of people they stop me in the streets, they send me message, I get a lot of comments on Instagram about this fight. So now the reverse is broken, there’s no way out. Let’s do the fight for the people. Let’s do it.”

Paul has long expressed interest in entering the UFC octagon, but Dana White doesn’t seem interested. Even with the success of crossover athletes like Brock Lesnar, WWE stars transitioning to the UFC have become rare, especially after CM Punk’s struggles.

When UFC 300 was announced, Paul saw an opportunity and personally messaged White, offering to fight on the undercard at the Sphere. However, he received no response. Speaking on IMPAULSIVE alongside Tom Aspinall, Paul admitted,

“I told Dana for UFC 300, I texted him, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in the Sphere. Basically completely ignored me, which I think speaks volumes.”

Despite being brushed off, Paul remains open to the idea, saying he’d fight for the right opponent and payday, emphasizing that, at his core, he’s an entertainer.
