Joe Rogan Has An Entire Country Pissed At Him Over His Bizarre Reason Why He Won’t Attend UFC 315

Joe Rogan on his podcast

Joe Rogan’s discontent with the country of Canada has reached a point where he’s decided to skip the upcoming UFC 315 event in Montreal, Quebec.

The UFC 315 event will be held at the Bell Centre (home of the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens) on May 10. The headliner is expected to be UFC Welterweight Champion Belal Muhammad vs. Jack Della Maddalena for the title belt.

A longtime commentator for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Joe Rogan has already decided to skip the event. And his reason appears to be politically motivated (surprise, surprise).

During an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience “Fight Companion” podcast, Rogan said that he won’t be at UFC 315, apparently because of the federal government. Rogan also claimed that he’d rather go in Russia than cross the border up north:

“I won’t be there. I don’t go to Canada anymore…I’d rather go to Russia,” Rogan said. “They have terrible government, but the Canadian people are awesome.”

The clip is available below, but be warned it contains language that is NSFW:

Canadians didn’t seem to appreciate the comments from Rogan:

Rogan is no stranger to controversial remarks, but saying he would rather go to a country ran by a dictator than Canada is sure to ruffle some feathers.

You don’t need to be a history expert to know the major difference between USA-Russia and USA-Canada relations, but whatever floats Joe Rogan’s boat. The man has largely made a living with ridiculous remarks and support of baseless conspiracy theories.

Joe Rogan Has Been Critical Of Justin Trudeau & Mark Carney

Rogan called then-Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau a “communist” and a “f**king dictator” in 2022, once again stirring up the controversy.

Though Rogan said he disagrees with Donald Trump’s idea of Canada becoming the 51st state, the former called current Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney “just as bad” as Trudeau.

Perhaps nobody should be surprised then by Rogan’s claim about preferring a visit to Russia than Canada. This man also referred to Putin’s ruling of Russia as “impressive”, after all.
