Jennifer Lopez Celebrates “Wonder Twins” Max and Emme’s 18th Birthday

Jennifer Lopez shared a touching tribute to her and Marc Anthony’s twins Max and Emme in honor of their 18th birthday Feb. 22, admitting she “cannot believe” the siblings are officially adults.

Jennifer Lopez is getting loud for her kids’ latest milestone.

The “All I Have” singer shared a heartfelt letter to her twins Max and Emme—whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony—in honor of the pair’s 18th birthday, reflecting on how motherhood transformed her life for the better.

“When I would hold you as infants, I honestly felt as if I were holding two angels sent straight from heaven above,” she wrote in a post on Instagram Feb. 22 alongside a video featuring highlights from the twins’ childhood. “My life was changed forever. I cannot believe you are now adults…18 years old!”

Describing Max and Emme as “kind-hearted, generous and loving,” the 56-year-old detailed her close bond with the teens.

“It has always been the three of us,” she continued. “We have been on this journey together. We have always had each other to hold on to and be that steady presence in the middle of any snowstorm. And I promise you, my beautiful coconuts, no matter how big you get, that’s how it will always be.”

Jennifer concluded her post with a personalized message to each of her kids as they step into adulthood.

“Always remember, Lulu, you are my sunshine…and Max, you’re amazing just the way you are!!” she shared. “Happy 18th Birthday, my wonder twins!!!”

While Max and Emme have been by Jennifer’s side for many of her biggest career moments, the Maid in Manhattan actress recently admitted her professional endeavors are largely separate from her life as a mom.

“It’s funny, my kids are not very involved with mom’s work,” she told E! News during an exclusive interview in December. “They’re like, ‘Work, come home, be home for dinner.’ That’s more what they’re concerned about.”

And as the sibling duo embark on their next phase of life, Jennifer recently said she’s “excited” for what lies ahead of them.

“I remember what it was like at 17, 18 years old, waiting for my life to begin,” she explained to E! in October. “I feel that for my children. They have the world at their feet.”
