Nurmagomedov can also be seen schooling one of his pupils for neglecting his responsibilities. Surely, it is now clear from where Islam Makhachev and co. get their incredible work ethic. Meanwhile, with talks going on about a potential matchup between Makhachev and Ilia Topuria, Khabib Nurmagomedov apparently does not approve of the same.

Henry Cejudo recently stated that Khabib Nurmagomedov was not fond of the idea that Topuria should fight Makhachev. According to the UFC legend, ‘El Matador’ has not done enough to get a championship matchup straightaway.

Shedding light on the topic recently, Cejudo stated, “I remember talking to Khabib. Khabib said it’s not fair for Ilia to skip the line and go after the title shot with Islam, cause that’s all Islam’s been doing. He gave [Alexander] Volkanovski a couple of times, and he has gone up. So, I don’t even think it’s going to be Islam’s choice. I think Khabib is going to step in.”

Surely, if this is true, Topuria will have trouble in paradise. However, it now remains to be seen how things pan out in the future.
