Ilia Topuria And Joe Rogan Double Down On Conor McGregor’s Presidential Run

Conor McGregor was supposed to come back and fight in the UFC. However, after numerous failed attempts, it seems like ‘The Notorious’ has given the thought a rest as of now. In a recent update, McGregor stated that he would be running for the Presidency of Ireland. And while this announcement riled up the entire fight community, speculations began in almost every corner. Continuing the trend, Ilia Topuria and Joe Rogan doubled down on the possibility.
In a recent episode of ‘The Joe Rogan Experience,’ Ilia Topuria and Joe Rogan stumbled upon the controversial topic. While one of them opined that using his fame, McGregor might just edge the others to create history.
“He is very popular in Ireland, and he might win,” said Rogan.
Meanwhile, Topuria contradicted the sentiment. He chimed in saying that he has talked with Irish people. And there seems to be no chance of McGregor winning the vote.
“I asked some people from Ireland that what are the odds that Conor becomes the president. They told me like probably zero,” said Topuria.
Surely, McGregor has successfully made yet another news story that keeps him in the limelight. Recently, on his visit with Donald Trump, ‘Mystique Mac’ lashed out at the Irish government.
Conor McGregor Criticizes The Irish Government

McGregor recently visited US President Donald Trump. Appearing for a short press meet, McGregor created ripples with his verbal attack on the current Irish government. Explaining the administration’s wrongdoings, McGregor urged the US to intervene and look after their ‘younger sibling,’ Ireland.
“Our government abandoned the voices of the people of Ireland. Our money is being spent overseas on issues that have nothing to do with the Irish people. It’s time the people in America are made aware of what’s going on Ireland, what is going on Ireland is a travesty. Our government is a government with zero action and zero accountability,” said McGregor.
Thus, it is evident that despite not fighting, Conor McGregor has surely created a buzz. However, with his comeback rumors going on, it remains to be seen what happens next.
