Elon Musk calls for Netflix users to cancel subscriptions over woke cartoon features trans gay boy and bisexual autistic girl

Elon Musk told his 226.5 million followers to cancel their Netflix subscriptions while blasting the streaming service was ‘pushing pro-transgender.’

The Tesla billionaire made the comments after discovering a cartoon that features a gay, transgender teenage boy and a bisexual autistic girl.

The program, Dead End: Paranormal Park, premiered on the streaming platform in 2022 but was canceled after two seasons. It is still available on Netflix for kids as young as seven to watch.

The series, directed by Hamish Steele, follows a main character named Barney who ran away to a Haunted House attraction to escape from his grandmother who does not accept him for being gay and transgender.

Barney is accompanied by other characters, including Norma Khan, a bisexual girl who is also autistic.

Although the show was given the boot, a clip from the series – when Barney shared that he is transgender – recently went viral after being shared by conservative activist account Libs of TikTok on X.

‘OMG. Dead End Paranormal Park, a show on Netflix, is pushing pro-transgender on CHILDREN,’ the group wrote. ‘This show is advertised for 7-YEAR-OLDS.’

Once the Tesla CEO got wind of the show’s content, he immediately condemned it.

‘This is not ok,’ he said as he shared the group’s post exposing the show.

He then went on to make several more posts calling for people to cancel their subscriptions over the series.

The show itself wasn’t the only thing that rattled Musk and the conservative activist group, as they also uncovered that Steele was accused of calling late conservative activist Charlie Kirk a Nazi.

Criticism against the director quickly grew after multiple screenshots of an X post purportedly showed the creator using profanities and calling Kirk, who was assassinated on September 10 in Utah, a ‘Nazi’ went viral.

The images shared showed a response from Steele to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s statement on the killing of the Republican commentator.

Starmer offered his condolences to Kirk’s loved ones while pushing for free and open debate without fear, claiming ‘there can be no justification for political violence.’

However, according to screenshots of Steele’s reply, the series creator said: ‘Our sympathy for any of the families being slaughtered by your own weapons but a random Nazi gets shot and it’s a public statement.’

The Daily Mail has not independently verified these viral pictures as Steele’s X account is now private.

But following the alleged scandal, Musk revealed in an X post that he cancelled his personal Netflix account after another user claimed the same.

Musk has now revealed in an X post that he has cancelled his personal Netflix account after another user claimed the same following Steele’s alleged post calling Charlie Kirk a Nazi

‘Just cancelled my Netflix subscription. If you employ someone who celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk and makes content that pushes pro-trans content on my kids… you will NEVER get a dime of my money. It’s as simple as that,’ the X user wrote, alongside a screenshot of the cancellation.

Musk responded by resharing the post, captioning it: ‘Same.’

The tech titan’s announcement of his Netflix cancellation gained traction on X, with thousands of users agreeing with the move – and some even claiming they would follow in his footsteps.

The Daily Mail contacted Netflix and Steele for comment.

Following the shooting, Musk, who attended Kirk’s funeral, slammed the Democratic party and leftist users online, castigating them for ‘celebrating cold-blooded murder.’

‘The Left is the party of murder,’ Musk wrote on X soon after news broke of the shooting.

The billionaire initially posted that he hoped ‘Charlie makes it somehow’ but as it became clear Kirk was deceased, Musk’s comments increased.

Throughout the ordeal, liberal users on rival social network Bluesky began celebrating the assassination of Kirk.

‘They are celebrating cold-blooded murder,’ Musk wrote in a reply to a user. ‘Shows what we’re dealing with. Evil people.’

Musk continued blaming the ‘radical Left’ for Kirk’s murder by claiming they are responsible for numerous politically motivated murders.

‘The Left lectured us for the last decade about the dangers of violence from the Right,’ Musk later wrote.

‘From the assassination attempts of President Trump to Brian Thompson, the United Healthcare CEO, being murdered. Now to Charlie Kirk. The danger was actually on the Left.’
