After the merging of UFC and WWE, fighter crossovers are a common occurrence. The WWE premium pay-per-view events have become a breeding ground for the UFC superstars off late. However, with night 1 of WrestleMania kicking off, UFC head honcho Dana White could be seen in attendance. Unfortunately, while he was shown a couple of times on live television, the crowds seemed to be booing White each time. Or is it?

Well, UFC veteran Chael Sonnen begs to differ. Clearing the air on the rumors about White being booed by the WWE universe, Sonnen outright rejected the narrative. He even pointed out that he was present in the same building, and nothing happened as such.

“I was there. This did not happen,” Sonnen stated on his official X handle.

Dana White delivered an opening montage for a spectacular show ahead of its commencement. White was also shown enjoying the show, sitting in the audience. While the reality of the booing situation is unknown, it is quite evident that a strong personality like White will surely have some significant reception. Meanwhile, dealing with his own promotion, White recently had a definitive take on the Jon Jones vs. Tom Aspinall fight speculations.

The UFC world has long been waiting for an update on probably the biggest fight of the promotion. With Jon Jones reluctant to fight Tom Aspinall, the heavyweight title scenario is utterly complicated. Thankfully, after a series of back-and-forth between both fighters, Dana White has finally agreed to intervene. And he has promised the fans that he will surely make the fight happen very soon.

“The fight is going to happen. It’s just a matter of when now, getting it signed and done. The fight will happen. It’s going to happen. It’s done but it’s not done. Not done enough to sit right here now and announce it and give you a date. But the fight is going to happen,” said White recently.
