Rogan, a UFC announcer and comedian who also runs one of the most popular podcasts in the world, certainly divides the opinion, given his penchant for controversial statements. But he’s made a revelation this week that plenty of people could get behind.

The announcer has dealt with plenty of struggles in his life, some of which are directly related to substance abuse. However, he’s seemingly set on a positive path, having made a considerable change.

Rogan recently took to Instagram to reveal he’s been sober for two months and feels awesome.

“I haven’t had a drink in about 2 months and I feel great. Almost makes me feel dumb for not quitting a long time ago. I do so many things to stay healthy only to sabotage it with booze multiple days a week,” he wrote, sharing a photo of his dog holding a bottle in its mouth and joking that the pet is doing its part to keep him off the booze.

The revelation attracted multiple positive comments, with many of his followers sharing their own experiences after quitting alcohol.

“I’m now 3 years in & won’t go back! 1 here or the on occasion is it! Congrats Joe!” one wrote.

As mentioned above, Rogan runs a very popular podcast and is one of the most followed hosts on the planet. He discusses just about everything on his ‘Joe Rogan Experience,’ where he sits across some of the biggest names in entertainment and other circles.

He is also front and center at UFC events, commentating for the MMA promotion, and is a renowned stand-up comedian.
