Britney Spears Reveals Special Gift for Her “Star” Son

Britney Spears announced she will be giving one of her sons a piano this year to support his musical endeavors.

The “Piece of Me” singer revealed she plans to gift a white Yamaha grand piano to one of her and Kevin Federline’s kids—Sean Preston Federline, 20, and Jayden Federline, 19—as they follow in her musical footsteps.

“Sending this piano to my son this year!!!” Britney wrote on Instagram Jan. 8 alongside a picture of herself sitting at the piano during the 2002 American Music Awards. “He’s a huge star and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! God speed, little man!!!”

As for her, the 44-year-old revealed that her performing days are mostly behind her.

“I will never perform in the U.S. again because of extremely sensitive reasons,” she continued, “but I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon.”

Though Britney won’t be taking the stage in America anytime soon, she also assured that she’ll continue to share her dancing skills on social media.

“Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about,” she added. “Yup and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life.”

While Britney didn’t mention her son by name in the post, she was likely referring to Jayden, who spent Christmas Day 2025 with her, a source confirmed to E! News, marking the second year in a row they celebrated the holiday season together.

Earlier in the year, the “Toxic” singer showcased her “genius” younger son’s piano talent in an emotional video.

“Excuse me crying and breathing hard !!!” Britney captioned the clip shared to Instagram in April. “I was excited !!! Mamas don’t get enough credit at all these days !!! I mean just saying !!!”

She added, “I made a person !!! A live breathing person and I made two of them !!! And my boys are so incredibly sweet and charming !!! I’m so blessed.”

Indeed, Kevin has also noticed both Jayden and Preston have an affinity for music.

“Both of them have different paths they want to take, but music will always be part of their lives,” Kevin wrote in his October memoir You Thought You Knew, “whether it’s production, sound design for films, whatever. They have a foundation now, something solid they built themselves.”

And for Jayden, that includes “diving deep into music,” as the dancer noted, “He got this opportunity to mess around in the school band room, even though he couldn’t read music.”
