BKFC Fighter Claims Conor McGregor Lacks The Hunger To Become BKFC Champion

Conor McGregor
There’s no doubt that Conor McGregor has made a lasting impact wherever he’s stepped, from his business ventures to his UFC career, where he was at the top. Now, as a co-owner of BKFC, he’s eyeing the title as a fighter. However, former UFC star and BKFC fighter Dustin Pague doesn’t seem convinced. He doesn’t believe McGregor will become a champion in BKFC, questioning whether McGregor has the drive to succeed in the sport.
Dustin Pague shared his thoughts on Conor McGregor’s aspirations to claim a BKFC title, dismissing them by saying McGregor lacks the hunger needed to succeed. He believes that without a strong drive or real thirst for a championship, fighters like McGregor will eventually look for an exit. According to Pague, if McGregor faces a tough challenge and gets hurt, he might quit instead of pushing through.
He said, “I just don’t see that ever happening. And I think he’s at that point in his life, that with the fame and the money. I just don’t think he has that hunger to be successful.”
If McGregor stays in his zone and pushes himself to be the best, there’s no doubt he could become a champion. Dustin Poirier shares a similar view, believing that McGregor’s potential is undeniable if he channels his focus and drive.
Dustin Poirier Believes Conor McGregor Can Still Make His UFC Comeback

McGregor has delayed his return for nearly three years after sustaining an ankle injury in his fight with Poirier. However, ‘Diamond’ believes McGregor can still make a successful comeback to the UFC. He expressed confidence, stating that McGregor has something special that could allow him to put everything together and return stronger than ever.

Poirier sees McGregor as a unique fighter who has the ability to defy the odds. Indeed, it will be interesting to see if fans will ever witness McGregor back inside the cage, fighting like he did in his prime. His return has sparked much anticipation, and if he can regain that fierce edge, it could be one of the most exciting comebacks in UFC history.
