Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown was involved in an ugly altercation on Friday night that resulted in him being apprehended by police.

Brown, a four-time First-Team All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowler, was jumped after Adin Ross’ kickboxing event in Miami, with would-be robbers reportedly trying to steal jewelry off his person.

The 36-year-old was in the thick of a wild melee for a few seconds before someone grabbed him and threw him to the ground. He would get up and start kicking that individual before trying to leave the scene.

Witnesses claim that AB pulled a gun at some point, with gunshots also heard in the video below.

Reports claim that he is the one who fired the gun, but there’s no footage actually showing that.

According to TMZ, the former NFL star was not detained for long and returned to the venue around 20 minutes later, with his explanation and recollection of the events satisfying police, who had previously placed him in handcuffs.
