WWE Legend Brock Lesnar’s Son Reportedly Drafted By Top Canadian Junior Hockey League Team
Brock Lesnar
Duke Lesnar, the son of UFC and WWE legend Brock Lesnar, has been drafted by one of Canada’s top junior hockey teams.
The Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League announced that they selected Duke Lesnar in round five at No. 115 overall in the 2025 WHL Draft. Lesnar, 14, plays for the Notre Dame Hounds U15 Prep squad.
Duke is the youngest son of Brock Lesnar and his wife, former WWE superstar Sable (real name Rena Lesnar). Brock and Sable’s oldest son, Turk, plays for the Notre Dame Hounds U17 AAA team.
Lesnar also has two kids with his former partner, Nicole McClain: A daughter named Mya and a son named Luke. Mya is a star college athlete in the shot put and track and field at Colorado State.
Since their inception in 1970, the Medicine Hat Tigers have been one of Canada’s best junior hockey league programs. Some of their notable talents who found success in the NHL include former Vancouver Canucks captain Trevor Linden, three-time Stanley Cup champion goalie Chris Osgood, Olympic gold medalist, Stanley Cup champion and All-Star defenseman Jay Bouwmeester and Hockey Hall of Fame executive Ken Holland.
Lesnar and Sable live in the small village of Maryfield in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The Lesnars are fans of the NHL’s Winnipeg Jets, and the former WWE Champion has made several appearances at their home games.
Brock Lesnar’s Kids Have The Athletic Genes

It’s obviously too early to project how much Duke will produce at the WHL level, and if he might have a chance at making the NHL. But as noted above, the athletic genes run in the family of Brock Lesnar, one of the most decorated athletes to step into the octagon and squared circle.
Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status as of May 2025
As of May 2025, Brock Lesnar has yet to make his return to WWE following his last appearance at SummerSlam 2023, where he was defeated by Cody Rhodes in a singles match. Since then, Lesnar has been absent from all WWE programming. Reports suggest that he was removed from creative plans due to being indirectly linked to a lawsuit filed by former WWE employee Janel Grant, which involved allegations of sexual misconduct against Vince McMahon.
Despite his absence, there continue to be rumors and speculation about Lesnar’s possible return. On an episode of the “Busted Open” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray discussed the possibility of Lesnar returning to win the 2025 Royal Rumble and facing Gunther at WrestleMania 41. Furthermore, Lesnar’s former advocate Paul Heyman made a cryptic remark during an episode of Monday Night RAW on Netflix, which fueled fan speculation about “The Beast Incarnate” making a comeback.
However, according to WWE, there are currently no concrete plans for Lesnar’s return. Triple H, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, stated that the company remains open to discussions should Lesnar decide to come back, but as of now, no talks have taken place.
Financially, Brock Lesnar remains one of the wealthiest wrestlers in WWE. As of 2025, his estimated net worth is around $20 million. He reportedly earns approximately $12 million annually from WWE and maintains endorsement deals with brands such as Dymatize Nutrition and Death Clutch.
In conclusion, there is no official confirmation regarding Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE at this time. While various hints and rumors persist, fans will have to wait for an official announcement from WWE or Lesnar himself.
