This year’s event featured a unique format, where the Warriors, Spurs, and Cavaliers each fielded teams of two players, while the Rooks made up a team of promising young talent, eager to prove themselves in front of a star-studded crowd. The challenge was split into three key events: the relay, the shooting challenge, and the passing challenge. Each event tested the players’ versatility and ability to perform under pressure.

Event 1: Relay Challenge

The relay portion kicked off the competition with each team navigating a timed obstacle course designed to test their ball-handling and agility. The players had to dribble around cones, make quick passes, and finish with a layup or dunk. The Warriors, led by Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, used their speed and coordination to set an early standard. The Spurs, with Keldon Johnson and Victor Wembanyama, followed closely behind, showing their impressive teamwork and timing.

The Cavaliers, with Darius Garland and Evan Mobley, had a solid showing as well, but the most exciting moment came from the Rooks—Scoot Henderson and Victor Wembanyama. The duo’s agility and speed set them apart, and they managed to shave seconds off their time, taking the lead and pushing the other teams to catch up.

Event 2: Passing Challenge

Next up was the passing challenge, where players had to demonstrate their precision and accuracy by hitting targets placed around the court. Each team had a designated shooter, and the rest of the players had to make perfectly timed passes to knock down moving targets. The Warriors were flawless in this round, with Curry delivering pinpoint passes to Klay Thompson who hit target after target.

The Spurs’ Wembanyama and Johnson showed their height advantage, making some incredible passes, but the Rooks were the real story of the round. Scoot Henderson, who had been a revelation throughout the event, dazzled the crowd with his court vision and creativity. His no-look passes and quick decision-making helped the Rooks pull ahead and put pressure on the rest of the competition.

Event 3: Shooting Challenge

The final event, the shooting challenge, was where players had to sink shots from various spots on the court, including mid-range, three-pointers, and even deep shots from beyond half-court. As expected, Stephen Curry was the highlight of this round, knocking down nearly every shot in record time. Klay Thompson, as his teammate, followed suit with an impressive shooting display, but the real competition was between the Spurs and the Rooks.

As the shooting challenge came to an end, the Rooks narrowly edged out the Warriors, winning by just a few points. It was a thrilling finish, with all teams giving their best effort, but the dynamic duo of Scoot Henderson and Victor Wembanyama ultimately proved too much for the rest of the field.
