Sleep deprivation causes students to lose focus in class, impairs their ability to absorb new knowledge, and makes them prone to drowsiness while studying. Many students fail to complete their academic assignments effectively because they devote excessive time to their phones. This is one of the primary reasons behind declining academic results and a significant loss of motivation toward learning.
However, this issue can be entirely resolved if teenagers learn to use their phones responsibly. First and foremost, individuals need to establish a consistent sleep schedule and refrain from using their phones for at least one hour before bedtime. Instead, they can read books, listen to soft music, or converse with family members to relax their minds. Furthermore, parents should take an active interest in guiding their children on how to use electronic devices properly, rather than imposing excessive bans. Schools and society at large must also step up awareness campaigns regarding the detrimental effects of phone addiction to help educate the younger generation.
